Suspected car thief crashes at Highlands Ranch school
The crashed happened after 6:30 a.m. this morning in front of Rocky Heights Middle School, 11033 Monarch Blvd., according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspected car thief, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries, according to a media release from the sheriff’s office.
The stolen vehicle collided with a silver Subaru outside the school. A woman, the driver of the Subaru, received “minor injuries” in the accident; a boy in the car was not injured.
